A Bantayan Island Adventure

Cebu's equivalent to Boracay beach. It was a wonderful day of travel and sailing. We woke up extra early only to have a 5-hour-wait for the boat to arrive. The sun shined brightest that day and the heat seems to tell everyone that summer has indeed arrived. We all embraced and welcomed it with sunglasses and hats.

We arrived at the beach at approximately 12 noon in time for lunch. We ate amazing exotic food from the deep blue see. It's some kind of a shell thing. They say it could make one tipsy but I ate like a dozen of those shell food and I was sober as the sun. lol

At midnight, fireworks fill the deep black sky with radiant colors of red, blue, green and gold while everyone is just so alive and filled with the spirit of summer. Another great thing is that we received our terra cotta bracelets from our friends there. I can't believe it takes 8months just to make those things, and that it was hand made. Really amazing!
